Our Family Dynamics team is a fast-growing business unit within the Wealth and Advice Solutions organization.
This group facilitates conversations with ultra-high net worth clients and their families regarding the purpose, the values and the stewardship of their wealth by navigating the issues that arise at the intersection of the financial and non-financial aspects of the intergenerational transfer of wealth.
As a Senior Family Dynamics Specialist, you will provide resources, facilitate conversations, and provide guidance to enhance the likelihood that multi-generational wealth, family harmony and the family legacy will be sustained.
The Senior Family Dynamics Specialist role is integral to the delivery and success of Schwab s modern wealth management experience and plays a critical role in expanding our support of ultra-high net worth clients and families.
The Senior Family Dynamics Specialist will report to the People Leader of the Tax, Trust, and Estate Group.
What you haveRequired Qualifications Undergraduate degree 10
years total professional experience in the financial services industry 10
years experience in family dynamics, family governance, financial therapy, family counseling, life planning, behavioral psychology, or behavioral finance Polished interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, attention to detail Skilled in communicating complex concepts, and solutions in easy-to-understand terms Background and interest in understanding client and family characteristics including family governance, managing family conflict, and dynamics of family wealth Demonstrates interpersonal effectiveness to build trust across all interested parties especially high profile and confidential clients Establishes rapport to gather pertinent information for stated and unstated needs While this role will not initially require securities licensing, the role expectations and associated qualifications may evolve Preferred Qualifications Master s degree 5
